How to improve eyesight naturally? Myopia or Shortsightedness

Hi Guys!
This is my first blog post. I was never into blogging before this. Now what inspired me to write? - My Spectacles... Yes, you read it right. I am suffer from Myopia or shortsightedness, is a refractive defect of the eye in which collimated light produces image focus in front of the retina when accommodation is relaxed.
Those with myopia see near objects clearly but far away objects appear blurred.

Though it is very very common but of lately, I was tired of wearing glasses all the time. Therefore, I started researching on how to improve or correct the eyesight naturally. While doing this I thought of those million of people who suffer from Myopia and wish to get this of their glasses. Therefore, I thought of putting my research in the form of a blog.

Most of us spend hours in front of the computer/Laptops, TV or reading books. Our eyes get focused on objects closer to you as a result our eyes become less adaptable to object which are far off.

Eye Exercise To Improve Your Eyesight No: 1

Stare at something in the distance every 30 - 60 minutes for at least 30 seconds.
This exercise improves your focus of distant objects, by preventing the eye becoming used to focusing only on objects that are close to you.

Eye Exercise To Improve Your Eyesight No: 2
Put your finger in front of your face about a hands distance away from your nose
Then look at your finger for a few seconds with one eye (keeping the other eye closed) then look at something in the distance (ideally as far away as you can see)
Repeat this exercise 20-30 times for each eye.
When you do this you should feel you eyes changing focus from the finger to the distant object you are looking at. This is an excellent exercise for improving the focusing ability of your eyes.

Eye Exercise To Improve Your Eyesight No: 3
For this exercise nod your head up and down, like you were nodding; to someone. Look up at the ceiling and down at your toes.
This exercise will strengthen the muscles in your neck, thereby increasing blood circulation to the head and eyes. It will also help to reduce a sagging chin

You can also follow the below:

1. Don’t Wear Glasses
Many books and natural vision improvement experts will tell you not to wear glasses, or to wear them as little as possible.
Glasses only provide a temporary fix, and do not improve your eyesight over the long term. In fact glasses will make your eyesight worse over time, which is why many people need stronger prescriptions each time they visit their optician

2. Get Some Bilberry Extract
Bilberry is one of the best things you can take to improve your eyesight naturally, and you should start noticing results in under a month. The best type of bilberry to get is the standardised extract, ideally at 160mg. Although anything over 100mg should be ok

3. Avoid Sugary Foods
As a general rule just remember that sugar is bad news for the eyes. The more sugar you eat, the worse your eyesight will become. Sugar can come in the form of natural and artificial sugar, and also as a result of eating white flour

4. Distance Focus Exercises
Since most people are short sighted (can see objects better when they are closer) one of the best exercises you can do to improve your eyesight is to refocus the eye by looking at near and far objects. You can do this using the finger method described above

5. Nod Your Head 100 Times A Day
Do the neck exercise by nodding your head. Work yourself up to 100 nods per day for best results

6. Refocus Constantly
Whilst you should set aside some time to do these exercises daily, it is a good idea to refocus your eyes throughout the day by making an effort to look at objects which are in the distance. Remember, most of the time you are looking at objects which are very close to you. So take advantage of the times when you can look at things which are further away. At the same time avoid staring for long periods at computer or TV screens. If you have to look at a computer or TV for long periods, try to occasionally look at something in the distance.

7. Exercise All Eye Muscles
There are a number of muscles which control the movement of your eyes, you can exercise these muscles to improve your eyesight. This exercise can be done by looking at your computer screen (works best if you have a large screen), your tv, your window or the corners of your room. Using your computer screen as an example, first look at the left middle side of your screen, then the right middle side and back to your left. Repeat this 20-30 times. Now look at the top middle of your screen, then the bottom middle and back to the top. Repeat this 20-30 times. Now look at the top left corner of your screen, then the bottom right and back to the top left (diagonal motion). Repeat this 20-30 times, and then repeat again for the other diagonal from top right to bottom left. Finally work your way across the screen starting from the top left side looking top to bottom top to bottom as you move from left to right (vertically) in an up and down zig zag motion. You can repeat this zig zag motion horizontally across your screen also.
