  3. Vitamin B: Black beans, Green peas and spinach contain B vitamins, which "help to support new hair growth and improve circulation to the scalp.
  4. Vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid: It may prevent the graying of hair. It can be found in eggs, whole grains, cooked dried beans and peas, dates, potatoes, avocados and cauliflower.

  6. Vitamin A: It is important for a healthy scalp, which is vital in producing shiny hair. Sweet potatoes and cantaloupe are great sources of vitamin A and C.
  7. Calcium: For calcium you can have low-fat dairy products like milk, yogurt and cheese which helps lengthen and thicken hair by promoting healthy hair growth.
